The Water Alliance promotes governance, participation and information actions aimed at improving regulation, planning, participation and institutional cooperation. In this sense, it supports city councils in the drafting of water ordinances as well as the development of municipal plans for sustainable water management. It also develops groups and working tables in which administration, companies and associations participate to debate and create consensus on the priorities of water management on the island of Ibiza. In particular, the Alliance has promoted the Water Pact as a space for participation and institutional cooperation to define and monitor priority measures aimed at accelerating the improvement of water management in Ibiza and Formentera. Finally, all this work is supported by the knowledge obtained through the Alliance's Water Observatory, which annually produces a report on water indicators, as well as by preparing other studies on specific problems such as drought, reuse, etc.
