1st Water and Biodiversity Conference

On Tuesday, November 25, we held the 1st “Water and Biodiversity” Debate Day, a meeting place for researchers, naturalist experts and the local community to highlight the natural heritage of Ibiza. During the day, we presented the results of the Water and Biodiversity project and relived the naturalist outings carried out throughout the year. A journey through local nature, observing, learning and reconnecting with our ecosystems. We also enjoyed the presentations of experts such as Juan Calvo, on the recovery of the calàpet; Stefan Meier, who highlighted the importance of artificial biotopes and associated biodiversity; and Jordi Serapio, who analyzed the state of birds and habitats in Ses Feixes de Talamanca. An initiative of the Alliance for Water, with the support of the City Council of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia and the Government of the Balearic Islands.
